This course prepares students for the Project Management Professional® (PMP®) certification examination. This course provides an exhaustive overview of the PMP exam subject matter. In all of the exam subjects the student is provided with training, applications, and performance feedback through a series of instructor led discussions. After each discussion session the student works a series of carefully targeted diagnostic questions. The questions probe for any indications of weaknesses in recognizing and applying PMI standards/practices. Students get into “problem attack” and “test taking” mode through repeated exposure to questions formatted in the same format as the actual examination. Extensive use of stories and anecdotes from workplace experience is used to vividly illustrate concepts in tangible every day terms. At the end of the course students can develop action plans to enable them to prepare for the exam and confirm that they are ready to test.
